sub luna city

In South London, a bunch of late-teens are merging together in a unified act of creativity. Arguably spearheaded by King Krule, who is the first of the crew to achieve wide recognition, people like Rago Foot, Jessie James, Jadasea, Jamie Isaacs, Jerkcurb, and a whole load more are putting out music that is free from any constraints. For the first time since Jamie T and Blaine Harrison got drunk on the Richmond banks of the Thames, a genuine London scene is emerging that doesn't feel contrived or marketable. This project, titled Sub Luna City, is headed up by Rago Foot, Jadasea, Black Mack and Archy Marshall, under his Edgar the Beatmaker namesake. Their tape, called City Rivims MK 1, is an 11-song journey through the nocturnal nooks and crannies of the Capital. Long live Sub Luna.
